Ha, love it.
There’s a bar in Guildford called Pews, guys took it from empty pub to packed out, place to to go.
Mainly using the courtyard, live music, dj’s. They built a bar, bought covers for rain etc.
One bloke put in a noise complaint - meaning they had to close outside at 11 instead of 1. They offered to buy him a (more expensive) house elsewhere but he refused.
Seems a shame he knocked 100’s of thousands of their trade. Can see both sides of the coin but all the hard work put into the place. |  |
