What a shame must have been a decent age. I haven't checked but seem to remember he became a prominent specialist in neurological illness, ironically he realised a few years ago he had developed the illness he specialised in. RIP Sir Roger.

I had a look, he specialised in Parkinson's disease he realised he had it a few year ago. He called it "gentle irony ".
