Alarmingly, I imagine I have too. I used to use the club message board before they realised it was a bad idea!

Ipswich Town have had a website since 1983. I own trousers that are older than you. Make of that what you will. [Post edited 12 Feb 2018 21:34]

Pretty sure I’ve always had this username on TWTD. In 98-99, I had a pet canary called Norwichscum, he featured quite heavily in my online musings at the time.

Indeed... I remember those days too.

Most senior forum member? on 21:40 - Feb 12 with 9762 views | Wickwar_Blue | I can remember writing a letter to the paper based version of TWTD. From memory I think I remember referring to Steve Sedgley as "a God." The foibles of youth!
Most senior forum member? on 21:41 - Feb 12 with 9756 views | ParisBlue | I can remember posting back in 1997 (I think) asking for pub suggestions before a Friday night end of season game at Portsmouth. Someone suggested the Queens Head. Turns out there were two of them (and we chose the wrong one). Though my proudest moment must have been being the first poster on the new board around Feb 99. Favourite moment was when we realised it was Marcus Stewart (and not Mark rRivers). And 11th September events unfolding. Was EalingBlue then

Fair enough, the names that stick in my head are mostly people I've met in real life. your budgie sounds more familiar! Gives me an excuse to think about Feb 1998 and 5-0 scorelines.

Most senior forum member? on 21:58 - Feb 12 with 9683 views | Steve_M | There are a few of us over twenty years, I'm 95 or 96, first year at uni. I would say it's a select group but it's more Hotel California.

You can leave though! Oh damn, I'm back, maybe you are right... I really can't put precise timeframe on my first forays but I think Gav still had hair. [Post edited 12 Feb 2018 22:04]

I genuinely can't remember. I'd guess 20 years, possibly more - but pretty sure not as far back as 95/96. When did it start? The registerless board was great fun but I doubt half my posts were actually by me.

Hullo BB.. I can pinpoint when I started because it was when I was at Bournemouth University doing a diploma and using their computers. Think it must have been Netscape? Must have been 1997- which makes this my 21st year on TWTD. About the same time you me and Bojk (among others) first came across each other on the mailing list. [Post edited 12 Feb 2018 22:14]

happy days. Netscape navigator, that definitely dates it well - probably on 14.4k modem. I need to get fit again, maybe play a few more games for the mailing list team. Grown up and outwards a fair bit since that started! [Post edited 12 Feb 2018 22:22]
