I wouldn't say we are totally safe, but we always seem to drag a result out of somewhere, like Wigan before Xmas, and Bristol just after. That SHOULD see us safe. |  |

Overall form, if maintained, will be fine. We've had a real mix of appalling performances, dull ones and the odd decent one since the Autumn. | |

I can see Mr Mutual Consent making an appearance at the end of the season.
Season-ticket sales are more important to this club than many believe.
Derby, Brighton etc may well end up breaching FFP but their crowds are very good and that is a massive source of their income.
In the Prem, it's less important. TV money is everything and the demand for tickets is high anyway.
In the Championship, clubs like Ipswich need season-ticket revenue as a base.
Unless there is a massive turnaround in form, the number of season tickets will drop significantly again.

I still think that is the best, and cheapest, option for the club. There is more chance of a change of managerial approach too - if Mick is sacked this month then it will definitely be more of the same. | |
