And yet, if you read the article, it's a very self-aware reflective piece about what she calls "emotional geography": the places and buildings which house our memories, our story and our place in the world, and what happens to our sense of self when they are gone.

So, push on past "Sainsbos" (which the article makes clear was what she and her sister called it when they were teenagers) and shed a tear for the devastation of town centres across the country, and the loss of sense of both self and place which that has created.
