Looks like the womens game has a completely different offside rule to the men. You couldn’t make it up, utter shambles.

Never should be disallowed under current offside rules. She doesn’t interfere with play in the first phase and by the time she touches the ball in the 2nd phase she is well onside.

England far too physical for China, they’ve been very good compared to first two games.

It should be offside, but I agree that under the interpretations we routinely see under the current ridiculously over complicated iteration of the rule, the decision was inexplicable.

And another example of why having the refs mic'd up is completely pointless when they only speak to announce the decision without explaining the why.

Daly has had such a good season that she didn't look like missing that.

The fifth goal gave me flashbacks to Andy Marshall in 2002-03 though.

Whatever happened to Chinese womens team _ They used to be one of the best when the Womens World cup started all those years ago along with USA and Norway but they have been very average for a while...equally Canada Olympic champions and out,although they did kind of stumble over the line with that Gold all the way through even including the win against the States.
This World Cup is very hard to call.
