AWAY ground guide - larger in some cases than suggested!! 15:09 - Jul 13 with 1982 viewsunstableblue

The official ITFC away ground guide (old version from League One) link is now no longer working on the new club website, and we await the official version for this season with eagerness.. but thought i'd dust off the list I had started, with final confirmed teams (Leicester, Coventry et al).

Reason being is that I've seen lists on Twitter etc, which are showing the minimum away allocations, not the full allocation sometimes made available, for example Huddersfield was quoted at 2,300.. whereas it is extended with demand to 4,000.

Wikipedia have kindly put up this page including a handy map of stadia locations:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023%E2%80%9324_EFL_Championship

ITFC's guide this season mostly used www.footballgroundguide.com, which isn't perfect, or even all that reliable, but it's at least plausible. Obvs, ITFC can sometimes negotiate more, especially when the home club isn't selling out. Cup allocations tend to be bigger given the 15% rule.
There are fewer small allocations (below 2,000) this season - Luton, QPR, Watford, will be over-popular.

Yes I used football ground guide and a few other sources

I think the promising grounds for increased capacity are those with big capacity and low average attendance from last season

So the likes of Preston, Blackburn, Brum…

Sunderland,
Leeds
Saints
Leicester

How do Cardiff get away with 1,800? It's 2000 minimum if your stadium is 20k or larger capacity, isn't it?

As they did for local rivals Bristol City last season.

I’ve updated the original post.

They have a low attendance % against capacity - so am sure they’d be happy of our mass custom
