An antidote to Lucan's post... I don't usually do 'Look at me!' posts but seeing as twtd loves a vegan thread.....
Just had a lovely weekend in that London for Mrs Dub's 40th, and had a couple of amazing vegan dining experiences.
First off we had a 5 course vegan tasting menu at Vanilla Black. Not cheap but it was stunning, an absolute taste sensation.
Then, for a larger group meal, went to Mildreds in Dalston. More at standard restaurant prices, but absolutely delicious.
At no point did I think that it would have been improved by adding meat!
Point being, it's really easy to reduce your meat and dairy consumption and still eat delicious food.
