Councillor Grimboy. Has a nice ring to it.

What are your policies? 'Not using Google to find obvious answers to stupid questions' must be one.

Are they not called The Brexit Party now?

Maybe not, never a great idea to have a name with negative connotations.

I'd vote for you, Zombers. If you greased my palm sufficiently, that is.

Should I ever become a political candidate I think I might take a leaf out of young Nigel's book and get people to give me money to take part in a march supporting me, so sorry - no palm greasing likely.

There was a candidate for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich last time out, but he won’t be standing again.

Why would you want a local councillor from UKIP? Vote Green or Labour for local.

Green Party I don’t think so and as for the Labour Party on par with the Tories.

Then sleep the hangover off and watching the Grand Prix and a couple of movies on Netflix or something.

Sounds great!

Well, aside from F1. What people enjoy about watching other people's commutes in fast forward will forever puzzle me. Wonder how many of them have to p1ss themselves while whirring round?

You may mock the Greens but they do an awful lot of good work locally. We tended to every issue imaginable, large and small, from all manner of concerned local citizens.

Do you like steam engines, at all? I'm going to my local steam fair tomorrow and can't wait for a hog roast and to witness the mighty engines of yesteryear. Wonderful :)

Do you mean 'coal engine'? Yes, if so.

Did you know that there are now fewer than three-thousand traction engines in the United Kingdom?

I was lucky enough to pick up several at auction a few years ago and have been working diligently to restore them to their previous glory ever since. Here is a 'link' - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-berkshire-36301279.

It is a superb day out, though a shame so many rubber-necking know-nothings turn out merely for the toots and steam billows. They think not of the intricate machinery within, much to my chagrin.

Greens do excellent work at local level, Labour are usually pretty good locally to. I've yet to see UKIP councillors offering anything to local residents where they've been elected other than headlines when they end up doing something unpleasant on social media or end up getting arrested for something.

Labour won’t get my vote and many others after promising to uphold the Brexit vote outcome and then doing everything they can to stop it happening I also think both main parties will struggle to get their votes they once had.
Therefore I shall be voting for another party this time round and even in the general election.

If by 'racism' you mean a sustained campaign of violence and intimidation towards blacks and Asians, then I suppose we're all a bit racist, aren't we?

Labour are backing Brexit, just not May's deal. Nor are some of the Tories backing her deal, including the most rabidly hard Brexit members of the Tory party. Blame the Tories, they're the ones who are meant to be in charge of this.

On May's deal, because it's lost in parliament three times now and it needs a mandate from somewhere. Also, Labour can only deliver their manifesto if they're in power, they aren't in power. Blame the Tories, this is their mess.
