I always used to get annoyed when the media described Luke Johnson as "founder of Pizza Express" when he was only 3 years old when Boizot founded the company and actually only got involved with it 28 years after it was founded. |  |

"I had to serve raw dough with cold tomato on top and tell the stupid, liberal hacks that they ate their pizza rare in Sicily. I invented a chef called Mario who never appeared. I'd apologise to the customer for some ghastliness on their plate, then I'd march out the back and scream at any empty room... People used to ask after Mario.
