Agreed. I only commented because some comments were implying that he doesn’t get a look in.
Had he of come on and looked remotely threatening then he might have been involved since, but unfortunately he didn’t and hasn’t (U23 games aside). | | | |

Me too... it doesn’t paint a very pretty picture to any of the other younger lads (Dozzell aside presumably) who are trying to break into the squad if you see someone brought in, get a 10 minute cameo and then get cast aside.
Catch 22 situation with trying to bed in players like Rowe... we can’t really afford to give them a few unproductive games to get up to speed but that’s exactly what they need. | | | |

Neither were fit but both came straight into the team and ballsed things up with regards to selection.
I actually thought Graham was one of our better players at Hull, on the ball, but against Norwich and Hull both him and Walters were out of puff after 60 minutes.
This is where Hurst has let himself down - making such a big thing about fitness and then having such huge double standards. That alongside Rowe's 10 minutes make it very difficult for the U23s. | |

I was so frustrated by Ward’s performance on Saturday that I’d almost accept a half fit Graham over him at the moment!!
Graham’s got something, he looks lively. But he’s horrendously inconsistent. One minute he’s skipping past someone and getting a good shot off and the next he’s ballooning what should be a simple cross into the stand.
I get what you’re saying about the hypocritical nature of PH’s selections but not everybody can be 100% fit, 100% of the time. He’s never said he will play the fittest 11 every week... because the team still has to be balanced. | | | |
