BBC4 have been showing a John Williams prom, I've only just put it on after the cricket but it's pretty damn good. Currently the Royal Albert Hall is listening to the cantina theme from Mos EIsley.

Proms are not usually my thing but i tuned in tonight. Really enjoyable. You forget how many music scores he has written, especially for Speilberg. The greatest living composer of our time?

I would argue Hans Zimmer.

Although Williams has created more iconic music for massive films.
