Fixture congestion 12:12 - Apr 10 with 914 views | Zx1988 | Spare a thought for the run-ins of Truro and Gateshead. Truro are having to fit 10 games into 20 days as a result of postponements, including having to play Saturday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday this week! Gateshead have had a bit of a pile-up as well (not helped by last night's postponement), and most likely will have to play Thursday, Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday for their run in.

With the round trip and frequency of the fixtures, it must be a nigh-on full-time job being a Truro season ticket holder at the moment.

Probably should play 3 home matches back-to-back on each of Saturday and Sunday to save the travelling and get the matches done. Could do a special discount ticket to watch the whole weekend too! Going to need to utilise their squad to fulfil all those fixtures aren't they?

Yes and I suspect after last night's draw against Eastbourne and another game tonight, their dressing room will be like a knackers yard!

They had a ground share with Parkway but ended that earlier this year due to the state of the pitch and postponements, then tried a ground share with Taunton, didn't last long for same reasons, Gloucester have a 3G so they hope no more postponements. My local club Chelmsford played them there recently on a Saturday evening, as Gloucester played a home game that lunchtime.

Long term, must be cheaper to install their own 3G surely?

Don't think they have had a ground of their own for a while but might have one in the Truro area for next season.
