Everything about them is smaller especially historically. [Post edited 6 Apr 17:05]

There was one where Hutchinson had it bounce over his head but since Davis misjudged a ball to him too I reckon it more likely the wind or that the Hutchinson one had some spin on it.

He just fcked it up. I was in line with it and you see he should have gone to trap it. It bounced - but nothing out of the ordinary imho.

Reminded me of playing a pre season friendlies on a hard Gainsborough pitch at the end of summer.

I seem to remember it being bouncy when we have played there in the past, not that that is anywhere connected to why we lost in fairness Is it a deso pitch, I think they're meant to be bouncier, I can remember Alan Lee mentioning it I'd be interested to know the dimensions, Portman Road is almost certainly wider than it by a distance, ours is one of the widest pitches in the whole football league Edit: Our pitch is 7 metres wider than there's and 2 metres shorter so yes Portman Road is a larger pitch essentially A smaller pitch is going to suit a more physical and niggly game, not that it's the main contributing factor to the loss. I think it's the tactics ultimately. [Post edited 7 Apr 2:59]
