Birmingham City can confirm that Manager, Tony Mowbray, requires medical treatment which means he will be temporarily stepping away from the on-site management of the Club for a period of approximately six to eight weeks.
All the best to Mogga and his family. I was looking forward to welcoming him back on Saturday and was hoping we could all give him a rendition of the classic Mogga chant from the late 90s. Maybe we still can?
Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

The header at Wembley, pure Mowbray desire and a true 'moment' in ITFC history. Legendary status in my eyes. Even in absentia, I know the PR crowd will acknowledge this somehow on Saturday. Get well soon Mogga!

When Mowbray signed I thought ‘Burley! What are you doing signing that old hasbeen! Waste of a shirt and a wage!’
Oh how wrong I was. He was without a doubt one of George’s best and most important signings. His influence on the team went way beyond his playing ability - which was considerable. And what a header at Wembley.
I gather he’s a genuinely nice bloke too. An odd fact - my dad used to choose his Christmas trees and plants for his garden when he worked at Woodbridge Notcutts after he retired. TM was always up for a good ole chat about the game and the club.
Get well soon Mr Mowbray, ya legend.

With that timeframe away and how "it's" been discovered,I can hazard a guess at what may be going on and am confident all will be fine and dandy once dealt with.

Best wishes for a quick and full recovery to Mogga.
