Can everyone try and be positive now? 07:23 - Feb 11 with 564 viewstractorboy1978

30 games played, 60 points. If we'd accrued those at a far more even rate, everyone (well most) on here would be buzzing right now. 4 points off Southampton with them still to play at home. 3 points off Leeds with a game in hand.

The likelihood is that one of the two teams with an inordinate amount more resources finishes above us, but we are still well in the race going into 9 games in a row against bottom half teams. We are still scoring plenty of goals and creating plenty of chances. Much like this time last year, it feels like we are not far off it all coming together and being able to go on a run of wins.

Yep, lots of people throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

60 points in Feb in our first season back in the championship is an outstanding achievement. We might not get top 2, and it was always going to be tough with the teams coming down, but my expectations were to finish between 8th-12th last August so should we consolidate the Play Offs, that would represent an excellent season.

There's lots to be positive about IMO.
I noticed today we took less risks playing out from the back with hladky mixing it up more by kicking long.
This, and the prospect of getting Al hamadi on sooner (a more effective Jackson type) gives us an additional way of hurting teams. We have massively over achieved this season, and the parachute payment goliaths have not put us out of sight yet either!
