Either the defenders & goalkeeper are instructed to play it out from the back.

Or, the players feel they are smart enough to fumble about with the ball against a high press.

Two goals conceded and it could of been three if Hladky,s party trick was not scrambled clear.

Then another goal conceded by defenders going missing again.

I have lost count how many soft goals have been conceded by abysmal defending and trying to be too clever.

We could have had 3 points today if we had stayed tight and patient. Just like Leeds scraped a 1-0 @ Bristol City today.

I hope this lack of defending and discipline is addressed .

We've scored more goals than conceded by playing across the backline

Hladky has shown he knows the exit route when passes are not on. However those escape routes weren't on today as Preston had a 5 man midfield and were marking our outlets.

Hence another reason moore is important as hladky can go to him if needed.

We haven't conceded that many playing out from the back. And McKenna has made it clear that's what he wants. The risk is conceding sometimes, but it's one he wants us to take and it's served us well so far.

You've lost count? It's really not that many at all. Most goals are theoretically avoidable but that's not the same as abysmal defending and being too clever. Not sure what being too clever means really.
