He came on in the 88th minute so maybe they are simply putting him in the shop window for a loan to a championship club.
He might well have been good enough, but maybe his desire to leave meant that KM only wanted to play players who actually wanted to be here- ruling him out.

In our position you can’t give a teenager who has barely played £8k a week and a 3 year deal, as the likely hood is they won’t be good enough.
They all want the prem deal and who wouldn’t Tbf, but I don’t think development wise it does them any favours. |  |
