Came on for wolves in the prem

Do you get a sell on attached to a tribunal agreement? ( did we offer him a contract firstly?)

I'm guessing no.. but is there any future bonuses attached?

Not a dig at ITFC, but if he's good enough to appear in the Prem now, makes you wonder why he wasn't good enough to be involved in our first team before he left?

Second youngest player to play for our first team I think.

He came on in the 88th minute so maybe they are simply putting him in the shop window for a loan to a championship club.

He might well have been good enough, but maybe his desire to leave meant that KM only wanted to play players who actually wanted to be here- ruling him out.

I’m just guessing the above - I have no idea of his ability etc.

He was offered a new deal.

Hardly starting week in and week out is he.

Same with Tyreece Simpson…

In our position you can’t give a teenager who has barely played £8k a week and a 3 year deal, as the likely hood is they won’t be good enough.

They all want the prem deal and who wouldn’t Tbf, but I don’t think development wise it does them any favours.

The only Muff in Town.

I just looked at Tyreece Simpsons record this season. Definitely dodged a bullet there.

We offered a contract but there was no tribunal, the clubs agreed terms, so it's very likely there would be money due on appearances etc going forward.

Im not suggesting we could compete on a deal, I just would have thought that he would have been good enough to play at 18 / 19 if hes playing in the Prem at 20.

Though this quote from Gary O'Neill was quite a stretch for a player theyve only had at the club for 6 months:

""It’s a big achievement getting a debut in a team and squad as talented as this, when you’re a young lad coming through the academy. I’m pleased for him."

There was a Norwich fan on Twitter the other day trying to claim James Maddison as their youth product. Neatly overlooking the fact he was signed from Coventry

I think it's fair to say his career path hasn't gone where he was hoping

I'm surprised Swindon hadn't gone back in for him, given the record he had there

There’s plenty who have played 1 or 2 games in the prem, to be in league 1 a couple of years later.

Appleton going to get the chop tomorrow, or tonight even. 3-2 loss.

An assist for Freddie tonight, and a yellow card, his first in 4 years.

I hope Ladapo had a good game, must be weird to drop down to that after all his hard work here while we were on the up.

I'm fairly certain that a sell-on clause is standard from a tribunal, so I'd hope that we received it in the agreement.
