Gotta be ratified before the end of the year.

| Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness. |

Extremely unlikely to happen. The US regulators probably won't want the Saudis controlling US golf. Hence Monahan has desperately been seeking alternative investors who might help the Tour compete with LIV. His other problem is that the Tour has been burning its cash reserves by boosting prize money, the PIP programme etc. Monahan hoped sponsors would pony up more cash, but they've pushed back and why wouldn't they now that the PGA Tour has lost so many name players.

John Rahm on 12:11 - Dec 8 with 1086 views | Westover | They have more than the 48 players that are needed so some of the golfers don't get to play so it seems to me for every one they sign another someone else will lose his chance to play. They had very poor viewing figures and I certainly would not watch greedy bar stewards.

£450 million...just mental money.
John Rahm on 13:59 - Dec 8 with 969 views | ElephantintheRoom | Why shouldn’t there be a different approach to sport in the 21st century? It’s long seemed daft to have 3 majors in the US in a global game with Asia being on a European tour. It’s not a million miles from India taking over cricket and destroying test cricket on the alter of panto rounders which people seemingly want to watch. I suspect football will go down the same route very soon with Saudi Arabia buying up a global league.

John Rahm on 17:51 - Dec 8 with 828 views | lazyblue | It’s absolutely crap, I wish they would say though it’s the money !! I love golf and tried watching LIV but it just doesn’t work as viewing on the telly .
John Rahm on 20:50 - Dec 8 with 758 views | ford6600 | Perhaps now Rory will have discussions with Greg. Get a huge slice of the Saudi money while he can. He doesn't know if the tours will merge or not in the future. At least he won't regret missing out on potentially a $500 million windfall...
