That much is clear. But in no way is Evans adequate cover for Morsy. It just fundementally undercuts our playing style replacing a player who is all about stamina and getting around the pitch, with someone who struggles to move.

Absolutely no way he is slower than Evans. Struggles to break out of a walk.

The mistakes are coming because we have no control of the game in the midfield. Which is essentially Evans job
