For people concerned about the use of his feet, I posted this on another thread but it suggests McKenna has confidence in him and that is all that matter. It was interesting to note that on occasions yesterday he was so far up the field that when he got the ball he wasn't that far from the half way line. That does suggest a player confident with his feet, something to be honest that you perhaps couldn't say about Walton, although his distribution has improved immeasurably. Of course early on yesterday, I think the whole team was taken aback by the intensity and pressing, so I am not sure it is fair to single out Hladky. And he could have just hoofed the ball, but that is not how McKenna would want him to play. [Post edited 7 Aug 2023 18:30]
