German fans in home end in bundesliga 17:55 - May 21 with 2050 views | flettonblue | Is this common? Just turned on Dortmund game, loads of away fans sitting in home end openly wearing yellow tops (urgh!), standing singing etc. Home fans (augsburg) don't seem bothered, no histrionics about it at all when a goal is scored. German fans just a bit more mature about it all (less them and us), less tribal maybe?

And they are allowed to drink in the stands, at least for league games.

German fans in home end in bundesliga on 09:41 - May 22 with 1133 views | FrankfurtBlue | Happens here all the time. Usually, there is no issue whatsoever. Been to many aways with Eintracht Frankfurt mates (Dortmund, Duesseldorf, Gladbach etc) and never had any bother sitting with the home fans. Wouldn't try it at local rivals (Darmstadt, Mainz) though, although Darmstadt and Mainz fans have had no trouble sitting in our home sections. Almost all clubs have a specific section of their stadium allocated to the Ultras, where no oppo fans would/could go, unless they had a deathwish! In comparison, 8 of us went to the Charlton game this season, sitting in their main stand. I needed to explain to all of them that they could not support Ipswich openly or we'd all get chucked out. Was very weird for all of us, but especially difficult when we scored our 3rd and 4th goals!
