Great stuff. Interesting to see that John Palmer funded the 1980s/90s timeshare industry in Tenerife.

They are organisations that will investigate that sort of scurrilous and libellous suggestion....

Palmer won't be suing anyone.

Used to work with someone who worked for Palmer, total lack of scruples, thought ethics was the county South of Suffolk.

Having been shot on his doorstep eight years ago will make suing difficult, I'll give you that.

Really enjoyed it, think it was a nice departure for Hugh Bonnerville too.

Did they ever track down the other half?

No.

Apparently £1m of it turned up in the Bank of England's vaults.

Around half of the total haul is thought to be buried.

It is not of course buried in my garden. I would like to make that absolutely clear.

No way Jose.

Anyone who knows where it really ended up was probably involved - and quite possibly dead.............

..........Although I reckon it was split 50/50 and went through The Met Launderette.

If you’re interested in digging, Palmer’s French chateau is on the market having been thoroughly ransacked since his demise. Nothings been found….. yet

I think most of Palmers got smelted and moved didn't it?

Imagine getting away with that.

Have to say they softened Kenny Noyes character quite a bit

There's clearly some artistic license involved but as you say, they've glamorised it as as a bunch of lovable rogues sticking it to the system

Noye was clearly a nasty bit of work, he murdered someone in road rage incident when he was let out again as an example, one of the witnesses was shot some time after that too, not that it was ever proven he was linked to that

There was a suggestion that Brinks Mat money helped fund the drug scene of the 80's and 90's

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Well, Palmer did a fairish stretch in prison, and then got shot. So, swings and roundabouts.
