Why the HELL have people's attitudes changed towards the traditional handshake since COVID? Can we not go back to shaking hands with one another rather than fist bumping. No word of a lie I saw my old headmaster in the card shop down Manningtree high street earlier opposite the library and I went to shake his hand at the exact moment that he went to fist bump me and he ended up bending my pinky back on my right hand. It hurt like HELL and I had to pretend it was ok because if I would have made a big deal of it then it would have been awkward. The bottom half of the finger is swollen along with about 65% of my upper palm. |  | | |  |

This is an intriguing story.
How is it you held out a hand, and he managed to fist bump your pinky, and didn’t intercept a different finger first?
Are you very tall, is he very short, is the headmaster blind, did he slip, where you pulling up your hand from low to high and misjudge the swing, was the headmasters fist horizontal or vertical , do you do very strange handshakes, do you only have a pinky finger and you lost the others to a vicious incident involving a traffic warden and drinks dispenser, so many questions unresolved
……well….
