Fellow coach’s and footy managers 21:36 - Oct 1 with 774 viewssuffolkpoker

Evening,

I’m trying to arrange our lads match tomorrow, it’s the first time I’ve had these numbers. What’s the best strategy for sub and equal game time.

So the stats are as follows

7 a side
Squad of 14.
50 mins per whole game.
Only 1 keeper

Equals each kid will play 23.08 mins.
Equal a sub every 3.85 mins

What’s the best way to implement equal game time without doing subs every 3 mins?

I’m close to saying pick a random keeper and pick 2 full teams. Surely there is a better way?

Thanks guys I love how this site fixes my shizle x

Different VII each half.

Ask for 5 volunteers to do 5 minutes in goal each when the keeper is off the pitch.

Truly impaired.

I like the idea of that. It’s either that or asking for a volunteer for the half.

I’m still not sure but it’s going to have the least amount of impact in the team imo.

Keeper plays whole game.

Rolling subs in both games to share out game time

14 is a very big squad for 7 a side. My U13s have 16 for 11 a side. Can you give 4 of your lads a free transfer before kick off?!
