That ‘pattern’ by Adidas was always known as the Ipswich template. It was used in the famous Dutch kit, but was called Ipswich in the catalogue.

Not strictly true. Adidas also had templates named Aberdeen, Everton and Chelsea. None of which were used by the clubs - Everton and Chelsea were not even signed to Adidas
