Found out an old friend has a brain tumour.

And then today found out another friend (only 40, with three kids under eleven) has died from cancer after a sixteen month illness.

No worries.

The lass with cancer died after 16 months. Her husband now has to bring up three kids, all under eleven. It's them I feel most for.

Yeah it's rough.

Whenever I'm feeling sorry for myself I think of my mates son who got hit by a car and died whilst coming home after celebrating his brothers birthday - shattered family, no recovery from things like that.

We should all thanks our lucky stars whilst things remain good.

Family is everything, everything else is largely irrelevant.
