If relegation does happen, some of the away days we could have next season look great. All within 2 hours of Ipswich. May make a nice change.

Southend
Charlton
Gillingham
Luton
Peterborough
AFC Wimbledon
Wycombe
Oxford. (2hr/3hr)

There are better away days in this league in good cities - Sheffield, Leeds, Birmingham, London, etc

And Oxford 2 hours away....?!

We play all of them in pre season friendlies. You could go to them.

Plus we won't have to sit through the 18th minute round of applause when our friends up the road visit..
Actually, no, there's nothing appealing about relegation. I'm too old to tolerate 3rd divsion football.

Well, despite what some say, personally, I'd look forward to seeing some new grounds.

Other than Preston and Swansea, I've done every ground in the Championship.

You've got a point - we're not going to be promoted for a long long time to the land of riches, so a different league and grounds wouldn't be so sad for me.

But for the club it would be truly awful.

Oxford would be about 2hrs i live 9 miles away from there.

I do Thame to Felixstowe in 2 hours, so probably would be around that.

Never did i think i would see Wycombe v Ipswich in a league game.

Add Colchester to that list if they keep current form up too!

I honestly do not believe we will get out of this mess and will be relegated. Even if we sack Hurst the new Manager has the same players to pick from. Anyway new grounds for me will be AFC Wimbledon, Accrington, Bristol Rovers (Did go to Twerton Park), Fleetwood,
Oxford (Have been to Manor ground several times), Rochdale and Wycombe Wanderers (have been to their old ground Loakes Park). Really do not want this to happen but is the only consolation prize. Worst plight of the Club I have known and all so sad as it will hit the whole Town.
