Rather just keep Bart however.

I agree I would get him anyway I believe his will be a free? If that's the case it would mean we could let Bart go if he does not sign a new contract and get some cash in.

Now I usually have you as a switched on guy Luke but why would we want a keeper on loan from Man Utd? Henderson isn’t a Shrews player, he’s a Utd academy product who has been tipped to play for England one day

Think his contract is expiring. So if we were to sell Bart then we could get him for free which I'm sure Marcus would be on board with.

I thought I read he would be out of contract and wanted away to play first team football , I can't remember where I saw it and I could be wrong.

He wouldn't be free due to his age and the fact he's being offered a new deal at United. He may well decide to turn that down for a better chance of first team football elsewhere but if he does any side will need to pay and I expect he'd want to match what United are prepared to offer him, which will be a decent wedge. I think it's unlikely we'd be able to get him in, best chance is probably that he stays at United and we get him on loan for the season.

If he wanted to stay at United, I imagine he would have already signed a contract. Can't imagine we would have to pay them much if he went out of contract, would be less than we'd sell Bart for. It would be anyone else interested we'd have to beat, but don't know who that would be. Think I saw something saying Bristol were interested.

Arsenal are rumoured to be interested. I think there will be bigger clubs with deeper pockets than us in for him if he doesn't stay at United. I think the compensation could be significant too, he's tipped to be a potential future England player.
