Second hand info, not saying he will stay.

But a person in my office, knows somebody whose kids are at the same school as his son. Mrs Bart and his son love living in the area and are digging their heels in and don't won't him to move to Palace.

He wouldn't need to up root his family IF he moved to Palace though, whilst not ideal it is certainly commutable.

I'm sure his salary would stretch to renting a a nice pad near the Palace training ground for stop overs.

I doubt the OP info has any truth whatsoever.

He is quite correct in that his wife & children love the area and do not want to move from here.

Maybe they do, but I very much doubt that would prevent him moving to Palace.

As a previous poster mentioned, the family wouldn't have to move.

I suspect he would triple his salary to boot.

He could rent from Mick while he’s up here.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Maybe we will, maybe we wont.

If Bart leaves then it proves it one way.

If he stays, it proves nothing. We'd have to ask Phil to ask the direct question of him ;-)

x3 your salary when you have, maybe, 5 more years would be very tempting.

the "goalkeeping earn as much as poss in a very short time with the least effort" was written by our own Richard W. and well done to him.

Bart really is a committed family man....not sure he would want that sort of arrangement. Bullard is correct, a friend of mine lives quite near him so bumps into him really frequently, he says the same things.

Sometimes money comes second to family and its not like he earns pittance is it.

All men and women are created, by the, you know the, you know the thing.

Totally agree with BullardsMagicMullet and other comments about him and his commitment to his family.
Unless ITFC drop their demands he's staying. Not going to divulge the figure/package we're asking but it is higher than the £4m being commonly mentioned

The OP doesn’t say it would prevent him from moving.
