An Australian billionaire's attempts to suppress an unflattering portrait is backfiring: the piece, painted by an acclaimed Indigenous artist, is now getting more attention than ever https://t.co/Ou0eezZzPv
and I don't mean in terms of distance either just because it looks like it could be law in the Isle of Man soon. I know it makes it own laws but it is part of the British Isles. When you read what Sue Biggerstaff had to see her husband go through you can see why in my humble opinion it has to become law sooner or later. Nobody should have to go through that be it the sufferers or their families. I knew MND was an awful disease but that was a horrible read. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-68954101
I'm off to bring home a dog I've rescued from the RSPCA. Praying he gets on with my other dog in the house. They were great together at the dog rescue centre. Fingers crossed
SuperKinlo 1 day ago As an Ipswich fan that watch last night was one of the hardest things Ive ever watched. I think Id have been more comfortable watching my missus with another bloke.
As a #NCFC fan not easy to say this - but @IpswichTown have been absolutely magnificent this season. To carry the momentum of last season into this and now be on the cusp of #premierleague football is exceptional. What a manager Kieran McKenna is.
Ex local referee. Not a Town supporter but a massive football fan. Was talking to him about VAR and modern day football. Not saying I agree about leagues 1 and 2 but I get the gist. I couldn't agree more. ....Gerry I've always maintained that no one and nothing can have the same view as the referee has during a game so his decision should be absolute especially as it's one that's made almost instantly. Now you have players constantly cheating, Managers out of control and, in the Premiership at least, far too much money. Sky TVs money was the beginning of the end, cameras everywhere, replays galore, decisions crucified in post match discussions and the man/men in black hung out to dry. Money and the suits have ruined the once beautiful game, fans are being fleeced and the latest FA Cup decision regarding replays is another nail in the coffin for every team outside of the PL and especially for the non league. I despair at what the game has become and currently take far more pleasure from Leagues 1 and 2.
瞿30 million a month in operational costs alone and now the takeover might not happen. Reading this makes me realise how much of a mess they are in. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68835735
