The narrative of how well we did against a team far above us and how we were (quite rightly) chuffed with how we nearly put them out of the FA Cup.
We're now going to be a division above them.

2.13 ppg last season.
2.08 ppg this season.
Presuming therefore 2.03 ppg next season, that would give us 77/78 points. Not enough to trouble Manchester City, but probably enough for Champions League football.

I thought I would be on WOTB, the Pinkun, Leeds's sites and all that gloating.
But I am genuinely just enjoying how good this is for us, for the club, for the town, for Suffolk. How chuffed the uncle who took me to my first games but who we sadly lost a few years ago would be at this. And how wonderful it is that the last couple of seasons have coincided with my children being at the right age to enjoy it and how excited they were yesterday and still are as it dawns on them the players they might see firsthand next season, being on Match of the Day and all of that.
I'm happy enough to enjoy that. |

But I'm sure we'll learn for the last couple of games.
Sam will know to pass to an available player instead of turning into a gaggle of opponents and Hladky will surely know to flipping catch it in a situation like that.
But two players who owe us nothing and a point from what on paper is the hardest of the three games.

They could've been 3 down, they so out of it. One goal and they're all over it. Hard to see West Brom getting back in this now that Leicester have got the wind in their sails. |

I know you're tired, but find the energy from somewhere tomorrow, chase every player down, get all the second balls, bust a gut for every pass through, block every shot with every sinew, stretch for every cross. Then you've got 2 weeks off.
And Town fans, urge them to do all of the above, cheer and encourage, sing your hearts out.

Promotion to the Premier League?
Involvement in one of the most exciting races for promotion to the Premier up to the last day?
Even in the worst case scenario involvement in the play-offs.
Like all of us, I have no idea what it holds for us, but I'm excited to hopefully find out, especially when I recall all those seasons where I was waiting for the season to be over from about February onwards.
