It looks like the club got fed up with him not signing his new offer and have gone elsewhere (that’s my take but may not be right).
Most successful manager they’ve ever had in the top flight, but self-entitled fans not happy. It’ll be interesting to see if they crash and burn next season, and hopefully if they do we’ll have a part to play in that. |

.. can we stay grounded and humble? I think we’ll surprise a few and have a good season, but if we don’t it won’t detract from what we’ve done over the last 2 years.
I’m listening to R5 Live while cooking dinner (pork loin roast with all the trimmings, if you’re interested) and the amount of self-entitled twots calling in is off the charts. Only one caller from Villa so far has actually appreciated what they’ve done. They’ve had a run of Spurs, West Ham and Villa fans all calling for their managers’ heads. All well in the top half, the eejits  . |

I’m sorely tempted, but know nothing about them other than VW or Sprinters seem to be the most desirable. Any hints or tips from owners would be welcome. What to look out for, any must haves, etc. I’m only looking at smallish vans as (a) I like simple camping so don’t care about showers and toilets and all the stuff larger campers bring, and (b) it’s going to have to replace our family car and be used daily for the kids’ taxi runs. |

with a needle. And then a nice young man pulled my tooth out. Amazing how things have moved on. The whole thing was completely painless (for now until the anaesthetic wears off anyway), stress-free and all sorted out in a few minutes. As a kid I remember tooth extractions as moments of fear and pain.
I wouldn’t recommend a rotten, infected wisdom tooth on my worst enemy though. Been in agony for days and barely remember the weekend match through the fog of painkillers.
I’ve made a rookie error though. I didn’t eat this morning and now bloody starving but unable to eat while the hole clots up. And then I’ll be on soup today, unless anyone has got any better suggestions for liquid food (I wonder if Guinness counts?). |
