For those of you of a certain age you will remember Shoot magazine's League Ladders. For younger ones it will be the massive wall posters of MOTD magazine etc.
For the last couple of years I have been reliving my youth and weekly updating my league ladders, because on Etsy you can buy an excellent quality and well made good old fashioned card version of the League Ladders.
I have recently been in contact with the seller/creator and he normally uses a friends images for the background of the league ladders. However, the seller has agreed that the image on the league ladders can be Ipswich Town if someone has a good quality image they are happy for him to use.
It should be an image from a home match. Player, partial ground, goal, shot on goal. The players in the goal celebrating promotion? Anything that you might have that you think would be an excellent background to the forthcoming years League ladders.
The owner/creator has stated that he is happy to give credit for the image on the league ladder, which may include a website or social media link if you are anywhere near professional. Or just your name if you are happy for him to use an image if you are a fan.
Now I am not quite sure how this is going to work as I don't really want people sending me images. However he is known as sportinfocus on Etsy if you want to contact him directly. But again please don't bombard him. talk first.
I personally think it would be a brilliant idea to have an Ipswich image as the background to the forthcoming seasons league ladders if only because I am biased. |
