| News Comment | New Kits Released On Saturday at 07:50:19
New season, same old nonsense. Buying a new shirt is not mandatory. If you don't like it or don't want to afford it, then don't buy it. Life is full of choices. Make your own. |
| News Comment | Dyer Joins Chesterfield Staff at 23:29:56
Effectively got Robson the sack at Newcastke. First class k**b in my view. How someone who fights with his own teammates during a game can seriously be a coach is beyond me. Great player for Town but that was a long time ago. Good luck at Chesterfield but wouldn't want him anywhere near our coaching setup. Probably why there were few tears when he threw his toys out and left. |

Ashton is class. No fuss, no fanfare just gets the biggest contract deal done. I'm back in love with our club. |

Great effort. Sounds like a terrific afternoon in the fan zone. But some people will always find something to moan about ...... |
| News Comment | Life’s a Pitch Axed at 13:05:08
I think this is a real shame. This show had become part of the matchday ritual which we all love. But the BBC manage their own budgets and make their own choices about what they do with the eye watering c£5billion (yes BILLION!) income that they fritter away each year. It matters not how much the hysterical people on here scream and shout, it is the BBC which makes the decisions what to fund, not the government. Clearly the BBC establishment would rather hose away hundreds of millions of pounds on their dubious current affairs programs and ex Footballer Match of the Day presenters than support local radio. Shutting down this popular local show will achieve such a paltry saving compared with what is squandered on their vanity projects. It is BBC priorities driving this decision not the government. |
| News Comment | Blues Legend Stewart Diagnosed With MND at 15:18:26
Sad news. Anyone involved with Rugby will be aware of the fight that Scottish international Doddy Weir continues to have with MND since his diagnosis in 2017. It is a brutal and devastating disease. Thoughts are with Marcus and his family. |
| News Comment | Town Launch Third Strip at 08:46:48
64 years old, haven't bought a shirt for 35 years, sat in a queue on line for 90 minutes, paid my 50 quid, absolutely f"ing love it. The club is on a journey folks. Get on the bus. |
| News Comment | Dyer Resigns as U23s Manager at 16:29:28
Was a great player for us but I've never been a big fan since his tantrums and behaviour at Newcastle effectively got Robson the sack. As Abandon1978 says, he has form. I'm sure we will fill the coaching hole. Onwards and upwards. |
| News Comment | EFL Drop Matchday Testing at 20:29:17
A serious outbreak of common sense has hit the EFL. Hurrah!! Players are fit and under 30. This variant is mild. A covid free world no longer exists so let's get on with life and take advantage of probably the best vaccination program in the world. |
| News Comment | Blues Break iFollow Record at 18:07:45
Mark I would imagine the income for the club would be a lot less than that. £10 includes VAT so that's a net £8.33 per viewer. By the time you've taken out the costs of the tech platform, payment to EFL and iFollow, to Radio Suffolk for the commentary and possibly some sort of share to the home side I'd be surprised if the club make any more than half of the net amount. Maybe around £4 a viewer. That's just my take on it. But still c£15,000 for no outlay isn't bad. |
| News Comment | Dyer Resigns Golf Club Membership After Alleged Racist Abuse at 09:12:56
Kieran Dyer. One of my least favourite ex Ipswich players. Part of the Newcastle brat pack which was instrumental in getting Bobby Robson sacked. However he doesn't deserve to be racially abused, although noone is yet sure what was said. Isn't it a bit strange that if someone said such things about a real friend of mine my response would be instant, ranging from immediate calling out of the person and reporting to a club official or my fist in their mouth. Why did the "friends" see fit to wait and tittle tattle to Lord Kieran and the press instead of acting straight away? Just asking for a friend. |
