I took a similar stance to you with assuming that the best way was to go long term and buy players who look like they've a got s decent future.
H. Winks 0.94 now 1.36 A. Ramsey 0.96 now 1.17 M. Mount 1.66 now 2.20 V. Van Dijk 1.66 now 2.20 J. Grealish 2.02 now 2.05 J. Maddison 1.83 now 2.86 E. Buendia 0.90 now 1.17 A. Robertson 0.94 now 1.48 D. Rice 1.22 now 1.78 D. Jota 0.62 now 1.36 J. Lewis 0.46 now 0.81 M. Aarons 0.62 now 1.34
I also agree with the other poster that the hardest decision is working out the best time to sell. Take the 3 norwich players for example, I guessed it was a no brainer to buy them when I did because all 3 are young, they looked like they were going to get promoted and had the chance of a big money move however I'm now wondering if it's better to sell them now as you can only assume that Norwich are going to struggle in the coming season and their price will drop or do I hope that a big money move comes off for them however in the case of Buendia he has just signed a new 5 year contract so I guess that's unlikely. I think I'm leaning more towards selling them and reinvesting the money in young, promising players who again are at clubs with a good chance of promotion this season for example Roberts, Clarke and Phillips at Leeds. It's interesting getting other peoples views.
I've been dabbling for the last 3 or 4 months trying to get my head around it and am currently 46% up on my stake. I'm just interested to hear from anybody else who uses it and what their strategy is to being successful.
Because I thought some people on this board might be interested. Don't give me the whole "it'll give our opponents an advantage garbage", yes my information is reliable but I have serious doubts that Farke is going to be taking much notice of some geezer on the TWTD message board with "reliable information".
Well ok, maybe I should've been home hours ago but a win nowadays deserves celebration. The missus won't be happy but who gives a f*. I still don't think we'll stay up but at least with Lambert in charge we can be positive about what might happen in the future rather than such a long period of our heads being in our hands. Keep Collins fit and you never know, I slept with a fit bird once so miracles can happen! Good night all....... ITID.
It hurts me to write this but it appears that I have no option other than miss my first East Anglian Derby (home or away) for 30 years. I am currently in Spain and whereas I was planning to fly back for the game my circumstances have changed and it isn't going to be possible. I have made extensive enquiries with local bar owners as to the chances of it being shown on a foreign sports channel (Bein etc) but it appears that the only slim possibility is ifollow. Please could somebody who knows about these things give me some information as to what I need to do or how I go about watching the game? Any sensible suggestions are much appreciated.... Thanks in advance.
and we were to put a run of wins together and against all odds nicked 6th place on the last day of the season, would the stayaways return for the playoff semi final? What do you think the attendance would be?
