McKenna: Credit to Maidstone, a Horrible Game to Lose
at 17:05:14

As always the embarrassment is with the over reaction of some of our fans. Disgrace, abysmal! Give me a break. Have you watched any other games of the last couple of years? Did you watch todays game? 38 shots v 2. . It’s a once in a lifetime result and stats. Lucky, unlucky, that’s about the short of it. Onwards against Preston, where the real supporters will be. Uppa Towen. Congrats to Maidstone.

Cook: We Should Have Been Given More Time at Town
at 14:54:04

Yes, it probably wasn't long enough...but equally any improvements seemed to have stalled and gone backwards. The stats Cookie quoted can be countered by, this season (ignoring the rubbish at the end of 20/21) we have 4 wins at home out of 17, poor. & since the wonderful Wycombe game, 2 wins in 9. Unfortunately not good enough. Best of luck Cookie with whatever you do next.

Morsy: We Let Ourselves Down
at 13:06:27

Unfortunately we did the same against Cheltenham (although had a better first half), & to an extent against Burton (having had a good first half). The same problems away from home…we don't seem to be learning. We need control the game more, with our ‘better' players, to get the results we need and for us not to have to watch Cheltenham, Accrington et al boss second halves and time waste continually. It was a tough, sobering watch.

Cook: One of the Toughest Days I've Had in Management
at 18:58:18

Hard to know what to say. Two weeks away & the only Improvement was in Aluko's performance. Bonne & Burns in the first half were good, everyone else, poor and looking like they've never seen each other before. Too many games this season, we have no space when in possession & are not pressing the opposition hard enough. Whereas every opponent seems to cut through us at will. Deeply disappointing. No fan criticism needed, this is down to the players, management and support to sort it out.

Harper, Dobra stood out all evening. Pigott & Bonne looked promising, along with Burn's cameo. An entertaining pre-season game, otherwise, plenty of room for improvement.

Cook: One of the Best Games I've Seen in a Long Time
at 18:40:23

It was a great game, performance & result. It's probably done enough to persuade me to renew my season ticket. Not because I expect to see those players next season, but because watching Baggott power a last minute equaliser, ignited all those emotions we've been missing with the first team. We live in hope...

I've only watched the last 45 minutes of this game and it's been fantastic. More good football and incident than in the whole of the first teams season.

El Mizouni Appalled and Embarrassed By Booing Fans

I'm amazed that people on here are deciding, on behalf of the players, why they are kneeling. How about you actually listen to their opinion, rather than projecting your own ill-informed opinions on them.

The Grim Experience of Becoming a Socially-Distanced Supporter
at 18:08:15

Although I can agree with you that it was a terrible performance, I have to disagree with everything else you wrote! My experience was that the stewards were welcoming & there to help. Hopefully this is a short term situation, re socially distanced supporting, whereas the terrible performances seem set for some time 😕

Tractor Girls' Cup Fairytale Ends at Manchester City

You are quite right blueboy, everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, sometimes the more intelligent approach is not to express it, particularly when it is so out of kilter with the reality of the situation. Do you honestly think the girls would benefit from being told the scoreline was disgusting?

Well said Liam. Their performances have been a much needed bright spark over the last couple of months. It would be great if they got the reward of playing at Portman Road this season.

Blueboy, how is calling it a 'disgusting scoreline' common sense? You've shot your own opinion in the head. If you've left it as mauling, or added outclassed, overwhelmed, your comment probably would have been ignored.

A couple of astonishing comments from idiots tapping away on their keyboards in the security of the childhood bedroom. One day you'll grow up and have something sensible to say.

Ipswich Town 1-4 Peterborough United - Match Report
at 18:20:17

Peterborough should have beaten us at London road, but didn't in part, because we had a spine and didn't give goals away. In both games they played with skill, composure and confidence. Something we are totally lacking. Apart from 20 minutes here and there, when have we dominated teams? What opposing keeper have we really tested this season? Again, from the first minute we humped the ball up the pitch, for it to be won by a towering posh defender. The scene was set. 0-2 down at half time, having had one shot on target, surely we would come out all guns blazing? No, it's the same again, another limp second half performance.

Lambert: I Thought the Lads Responded Well
at 21:15:18

Definitely an improved performance, reminiscent of the early part of the season. Norris largely untroubled, but caught in no mans land again. How Wycombe are top is a mystery. Their two performances against us have been some of the worst I have seen this season.

Ipswich Town 0-0 Gillingham - Match Report
at 18:01:21

I have enjoyed this season, honestly, thanks to the combination of results, performances and visiting new stadia. However persisting with two players up front who can hardly win a header between them, whilst we continually hump it up to them, is baffling. We have no coherence or confidence currently, please Lambo sort it out, because in this league we dont have to be that good to go up.

This was a great tough performance. Fleetwood didn't really threaten & we had more than enough chances in the 2nd half. We are looking so solid & have some much needed creativity, particularly Garbutt & KVY. A fabulous day!

BettyBlue, The fans deserve better? Better than being top of the league? Better than being respected by the manager? Better than the players giving their all to keep the lead or score in the last minute? I, along with many i suspect, are more than happy. Yes, the style of play can still improve, more of Sunderland & MK Dons first halfs, but give it time. New players, young players, those coming back from injury, it'll need a little time. BUT we are top of the league, so lets enjoy it!

MK Dons 0-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 00:26:39

The first half was as good as Sunderland at home. Short, quick passing, holding the ball, movement. Yes, we faded in the second half, we looked knackered, but there is fight there, spirt and squad players, or those returning from injury are fitting in well. We have a bit of luck with us at the moment, but I'll take that.
The MK stadium is impressive, but i can't believe there were 6500 plus MK fans there! Despite the crappy drive there, a great evening. COYB.
