Memorial Garden to Open Ahead of Swansea Match
at 00:13:43

My dad's ashes were just off the pitch and to the right of the posts looking at Churchmans. Probably right on the spot Colin Harper tore off his shirt and threw it in the pitch in disgust at being sent off. Dad died in 1978 a couple of months after the FA Cup win. He'd have loved the current style of play. Triangles he used to shout. Pass and move. He wasn't far wrong. The club have made a decent effort in looking after all those who have gone before. Well done.

The team on Saturday will be men - not the boys. Humphries is a great player but not for the feisty game upcoming.

Ladapo Aiming to Break 20-Goal Barrier

Ladapo is a top striker in league one. That's all the is to say really. Some of the comments on here cannot be town fans. Just budgies trolling.

Luongo Signing Confirmed
at 23:27:40

For all the naysayers you really need to get all the facts. We've bought in a cover player for CM position. Staying under the wage spend cap, not tying us to anything beyond the season, experienced, fit, used to the area and the club. Obviously we can't get Jack Taylor at the right price. This is a good signing.

Town to Wear Blackout Kit Against Derby
at 14:19:59

Oh God. Is this April the First? A whole debate about Super Blues and we change the home kit colour. Is this the first of the Yankee Dollar talking?
Come on you...."blacks?"
If it wasn't farcical it'd be laughable.

McKenna: Pride is the Overriding Feeling
at 03:29:23

Some comments on atmosphere. Sleepy Suffolk has two sides to it. We might not be raucous or sing at every minute but equally so we're slow to get on the backs of players and managers. You can't have patience and tolerance and rock solid support sometimes without it also being occasionally less vocal. Just saying it was ever thus... ask SBR about the zombies.

Season Ticket Cards to Be Sent This Week
at 13:24:03

It'll be interesting to see if they do arrive before this Saturday when I go on holiday; returning direct from where we are staying to Ipswich without coming back home. It's almost like no one thought about the earlier season start; holidays, and so forth. So yes- should have been sent out earlier!

Egan Ban Details Revealed
at 06:31:36

This is in a game that is alleged to be the same from top to bottom. I don't think the ban is too long. But I really would love to see it operate at the highest level too. The game would be better for it longer term.

Nsiala Linked With Fleetwood Loan
at 23:03:44

Toto was one of the very few at Charlton that tried. Left alone to make passes to non existent and disinterested midfielders who were on a sulk. The man is Ronseal - tell him to put a head or foot through the ball and he'll do a job. He's like another we did not rate and let go - Wayne Brown - who went on to play at a higher level. He'll go because we want to free up wages and a squad place; but to say some of the unkind things on here is just plain ignorant

Town Draw Arsenal U21s in Papa John's Trophy
at 12:51:23

It is a Mickey Mouse cup; alleviated only in the later stages when hopefully the Prem hoarders have all been ousted. Other posters on here are right in that it is a the thin end of a wedge leading to B teams. It is the inclusion of those teams that also prop up the Category 1 status that is also now a closed shop. I would not miss the top six from the Prem - it might just bring back opportutinites for all clubs - not just those with pots of money.

PLC to Continue to Own 12.5 Per Cent of Town
at 17:01:10

In the (unlikely) event that our Govt actually do run a proper review of Football in this country then we might get closer to a German ownership model - it is thus quite politic for our new owners not to force us 3,500 tiddlers into selling.

Cook: We're a Million Miles From a Good Team, Supporters Must Be Tired and Bored By Now
at 12:19:00

I quite like having a nickname that the World recognises my club by. Before the Tractor Boys was coined for us by a journo we were often subjected to songs by other fan bases; "I can't read, I can't write, but I comedown from Ipswich Town and I can drive a tractor"
It's certainly a sight better than the Blues or Towen.

McGavin's Ayr Loan Move Well Down the Line
at 17:18:05

I am still stymied by what Town are trying to be/do? Are we still thinking we have ANY chance of promotion? If so then I guess trying to get in better suited players now is right; if not then for 'evans sake let's just bin all the loans; unload all the out of contract that we class as deadwood and keep two or three old heads and the kids and play them! But tell us up front so we know what to expect. A proper understood five year plan to go with our five year manager? AAAARRGH!

Blades Linked With £3m Woolfenden Move
at 13:32:00

£10m with a hat full of add ons and this might happen. £3m is a joke - and not a very good one at that. Selling a future Prem regular should fund the running costs of the club for two years minimum. That's the bench mark.
