The kids

I thought the kids did well today. Probably the only positive. Bish and downes looked the business first half. Lankaster is gonna be great and kenlock held his own.
Along With Morris, wolf, dozz & Emmanuel We have a good group of youngsters coming through, so maybe a stint in L1 is what they need to grow into a team?

2nd halves

Our 2nd half performances are worrying. Starting to think that the championship is just too quick and physical to impliment the high press tactics that worked so well for PH in L2/L1.

Where does Edun fit in all this?

Edun in is the only signing of the 9 that I don't really understand. On paper We have 3 other young England youth players with the same, if not more experience, vying for the same positions. I can only think he's been bought in to act as cover on the left of midfield, ready in case the likes of ward / Sears / roberts don't step up. Still seems a bit of a waste to me. Thoughts?

I thought Woolfenden put in a really assured performance today given that was his first championship game. At 19? he could go on to be a cracking defender

It seems like we not played a recognized right back for years. Today we are playing 3! All pretty decent as well
