O'Neill: Lambert New Deal the Right Decision to Give Club Stability
at 17:24:21

PL critics, top recruitment is 9/10ths of the job and PL has shown he has a good eye for new players on a modest budget - e.g. KVY, Norwood, Keane & Judge. Injuries have hampered progress but we are gradually turning the corner in time for the second half of the season.

O'Neill: No Indication From Everton on Garbutt Future
at 17:15:52

A club like Bristol City, Preston or Brentford will probably nab him. Clubs who have all overtaken us in recent years despite being smaller clubs. Why? They've got their recruitment spot on. Brentford continue to climb even after selling Maupay.

O'Neill Not Expecting Busy Transfer Window
at 17:43:02

Amazing really from our fans. Few expected us to get automatic promotion given how poor we were last season. But so many of you talk now as though you expect it after such an unexexpectedly good start to this season. Donacian injury severely undermined us at Lincoln. The ref v Wycombe disallowed a perfectly good goal. Fine margins. We have Sears back and he needs time to get fully match fit and sharp. Bishop is back on the grass. KVY is stepping up training. Getting on the players backs and the managers is NOT going to help. Support PL and this will all come good again.

Big Al
at 22:43:47

Thanks for that Elephant. Great blog on probably the least public of all Towns great players in that period. When I think of Big Al it is his uncanny ability to steal the ball away from an opposing attacker bearing down on him one on one.
He must have given his teammates ahead the greatest confidence to push forward.

Town Linked With Ross County Defender
at 13:14:04

Most fans see Toto as a yellow card at least waiting to happen. In some cases he has been booked harshly e.g. Staff Wed last season when Forestieri clearly dived when TN got the ball first. He admits he has had anger management issues which spilled out on the pitch sometimes. He has had professional help with them and has been given tools to keep them in check. He was immense in the air at Portsmouth and playing very well until subbed. That booking seemed harsh too.

It was clear yesterday, Jackson has to start. We were much more threatening when he came on with his extra pace and crosses from the flanks. Just need Norwood etc to get on the end of them.

"Embarrassed and Ashamed" Dozzell Opens Up on Mental Health Struggles

Anxiety attacks sound pretty benign until you have seen how they affect the individual. They can believe they will never get better. Its devastating stuff. They need lots and lots of personal support to help them through it.

Ipswich Town 0-1 Lincoln City - Half-Time

Quite agree Diffgravy. We deserve all we get. So embarrassing. How can we ignore the Cups being such a moneyspinner if we go on a good run too? P L is no different to MM 're the Cups. Prob even worse with 10 changes!

Ten Changes as Blues Look to End FA Cup Woe

Quite agree guys. I'm rapidly losing I interest in the FA Cup because of Towns ridiculous disregard for it. Lincoln fielding a nearly full strength team apparently. Only one result there then.

Gill: There Will Be Changes But We'll Still Be Strong

Couldn't agree more Radlettblue. We were at the Luton away cup match and just saw us completely outplayed by a less than full strength Luton side. Expect another disjointed performance tomorrow with young Dobra again the shining light if he plays.

Lambert: Fans Coming Back Has Given Me Most Satisfaction, Training Ground Was Horrendous
at 21:29:24

This is where having an experienced manager with high level playing experience like PL really benefits the club.. But why had the facilities got into such a poor state before he came in? PH wasn't there long enough to be the culprit. So it must be down to MM. Maybe he just gave up trying to secure sufficient investment in the club by ME. Whatever, well done Paul and thanks ME for backing him to date.

Sections of Ground Closed for FA Cup Tie

Perhaps if we had taken cup matches more seriously in recent seasons a lot more fans would want to go, first round or not. But our record is appalling and doesn't look like it will improve much under the current management. I saw us get comprehensively outplayed at Luton by their weakened team and arent minded to go through that again. A decent cup run would be financially very rewarding and allow greater investment in the team. Look at Bristol City e.g.
