What announcement about arriving early? Because of the new turnstiles? I’m a season ticket holder in there and have been for years. I didn’t know the new turnstiles were going live today. Public transport on a bank holiday meant that was the earliest I could get to the ground. There have been sell outs a few times this season and I have arrived later than this and been in within 5 mins. Don’t get your point |

Absolute joke. Arrived at the ground at 14.40. Got in at 15.05. The queue went round the stadium to Alderman Road. Absolute Joke planning! |

Exactly the same thing happened at Peterborough on Saturday. Second half a guy was calling all our players the c word. He got called out and it ended in a little bit of fisticuffs. The guys left before the end and missed the equaliser! |

I was particularly impressed with their backstreet boys song. Sorry if other fans have already done a version but I’ve never heard it and it made me chuckle! |

I only heard it on the train on the way. Maybe it hasn’t had a proper outing yet! |

Just remember when the Lukaku song was about there was a massive debate on talkSPORT and they hammered it for being racist. If Toto likes it ....... |

I was as at the game Saturday and heard a couple of songs about Jackson and Nsiala being sung. Both songs made reference to a certain part of their body! The majority of people laughed when they heard it. I remember a similar song about Lukaku being sung by United fans which got condemned as racist as it was reinforcing a racial stereotype. I realise that there are a lot worse names to be called and there are a lot worse things to be levelled at someone, but with the chants at Luton as well, is this a slightly worrying trend? I haven’t made my mind up if this is just banter or a little bit racist. What does anyone else think! |

| Forum Reply | What happened at Peterborough station, after the match? at 22:23 18 Aug 2019
Yes. It happened. We were near the guys from section 6 with the drum. Some young guys who may have had a shandy were moaning at our own players calling them a few choice words. A couple of other guys took exception to this. Before you know it punches were thrown. Stewards attended it calmed down for a bit then nearly kicked off again later the young guys then left early and missed chambers equaliser! Karma??? |

I was on the train in question. There weren’t any Ipswich on the platform. We were all on the train. It was almost ready to leave when a train from Norwich turned up with Norwich and geordies on it. Some Ipswich in the train started to sing songs about Norwich and suddenly the train got rushed by geordies. There was then a battle between about 15 blokes in the train wanting to get out and 15 blokes wanting to get on With some police in the middle with batons stopping them. Pepper spray was sprayed onto the train (my ten year old was very close as were other bystanders who just wanted to get home). Very mature behaviour from everyone involved. The police said that the emergency button was broken and after an hour stuck on the train not being allowed to leave we were told the train was cancelled. This after watching town fans scrap with each other in the ground was a great introduction to my son at his first away game. |
