We’ve been given a golden opportunity…..

Saints still have to play away at Leicester and Leeds though.

They may still have a chance but, if they get there, we should also benefit.

Congratulations Leeds on winning promotion for the fifth time this season.

Leicester are at home to QPR next week but after that they have this run:

Sunderland (a)
Hull (a)
Southampton (h)
Bristol City (a)
Norwich (h)

It's not at all inconceivable that they could yet have a real wobble.

Lots of twists and turns to come.

Good to see some common sense returning.....

Except there are many costs associated with taking cash, both with physically processing it and also with storage/transport/security etc.

This approach is totally bonkers, even if it does work out marginally more cost effective (of which I'm really sceptical) then if just one customer walks away because they don't have cash then any saving is wiped out many times over.

Plymouth are champions- well done them.

101 points is phenomenal.

They've been crazily consistent all season and thoroughly deserve the title.

IF we go up automatically

How much do people care if it’s in first or second?

I’m slightly surprised to find that I couldn’t care less about the title really.

Maybe that’s because of how the season has panned out and it would be different for a team who had gone up with a bit to spare.

Anyone/everyone else the same?

The table looks closer than it is in reality

We also shouldn't forget that we still have 3 very tricky looking away games to negotiate, including at 2 of the current top 6.

No reason to think we won't do it but it's far from guaranteed.

If Britain were to vote to rejoin the EU

Yes I pretty much agree with that.

It isn't what's driving the current staffing crisis though, or at least not the main cause.

Yeah, so presumably we can agree that a skills shortage really isn't the issue with the current crisis? (I agree it's both an issue and an opportunity in general).

The vacancies are primarily in low skilled, low paid work and we simply don't have the bodies to fill them. This isn't about apprenticeships or training, it's just numbers.
