Worth catching About Anglia now

There's an item from a Budgie bus going to Liverpool. You wouldn't fancy spending any time with them. Especially the one with what looks like a very large stuffed parrott.

So we're on the bus... met at Fortuna's Bar 95 for a few breakfast Altbiers. Then got on the coach. It was difficult to get to a seat - the aisles are full of beer crates....

Losing 3-1. They're bigger, quicker and better. Bundesliga v 3rd League and it shows.
Looks like both sides with have a different 11 second half.
The main difference is - they have taken their chances, and we failed to shoot when we had ours. So, we're doing ok, other than in either box, a bit like last season.
Can't judge a lot from this, but we're moving well, passing positively, and trying to create.
Confusion about the Dove's beer festival
at 17:35 23 May 2019
One of local papers ran a story yesterday - a 'history' piece, about an old boy and his life and his pubs. The headline included "a pub with no beer" , and the story was illustrated with a picture of the Dove, as it is now. Which has caused some consternation, as it's the start of their beer festival, with around 50 beers and 24 ciders. Probably the most inappropriate choice of image.
So, if you're worried the Dove is the latest Ipswich pub casualty, pop down now and allay your fears.
Walnut Tree pub, Stowmarket - wow!
at 11:01 11 Mar 2019
I was out on official CAMRA business yesterday (I know, it's hard work....) And we popped into the Walnut Tree having heard it had new licensees.
It has changed a bit. Now has half a dozen interesting and varied cask ales from near and far, plus 10 varied craft keg. Beers were in excellent condition, prices sensible.
And, for the brave, you can try the whole lot by getting a 16-beer flight. Apparently you can share this. It looks magnificent.
For drivers, there were a couple of low alcohol options. Including an utterly incredible vanilla-imperial stout at 0.5% that honestly you wouldn't mind spending a session on, and still be fine to drive home.
I have no connection to the pub, of course, but did promise them I'd pop a note up here, as many of you lot live in Stowmarket, and may not realise what a gem you now have in town!
No pool or darts now, but regular bring-your-own vinyl nights. No food (they claim) but pork pies, scotch eggs and sausage rolls constitute food for me!!!
