| Forum Thread | Travis for Luongo next week? at 17:24 9 Mar 2024
Not sure what has happened to Mass but he has not looked himself past few weeks. Passes always backwards, looks a yard slow when competing 50/50s |

Loved that, not even good enough to know his actual name! |

Did not like the fact he had the moan on the pitch after a 4-0 win. Keep that in the dressing room. I suspect Chappers will look back and apologies but it isn't good form imo |

If Chaplin wants to make a big deal out of that, then get someone needed to step in. It was obvious Al ma hamidi should have that pen This team has performed like it has due to its togetherness it' doesn't need someone kicking off because they were benched and. Not given a pen [Post edited 15 Feb 0:16]

| Forum Thread | Referees inability to prevent time wasting at 12:36 12 Feb 2024
It frustrates the life out of me, they stand there like they have no options and are unable to prevent it. Just grow a pair and book the player and if he does it again send him off. The fact the referee on Saturday is supposed to be a prem ref was more shocking. What I found more shocking was the lino shouting at Fridge over an offside he didn't give that was blatantly offside. The refs don't help themselves when they are as arrogant as that, just hold your hands up and say I may have got that wrong but I thought he was onside. |

What do you mean bed them in? How does this work please? If you mean play them regularly, then yes absolutely but IMO given their talents that would be pushing for 2nd not parking it. |

Been saying this for a while, our CBs need to contribute to our goals tally. If you look at most successful teams their CBs add a threat and goals from set pieces, we got so many set pieces each game but struggle to create anything unless its a training ground routine with Chappers. Thought this was really evident against Maidstone, we should have been more threatening given the number of set pieces we had. |

Agreed I do also think we have been fortunate in some games not to concede more. Hladky has been very good all season. There are going to be games where we fall the wrong side of the luck. |

2 goals in the first 8 minutes that on a different day one or possibly even both are disallowed. At 0-0 or even 1-0 the whole game is different, them being 2-0 was a huge gut punch to our players and allows them to sit back and defend. Big positives on the second half with Moore showing he is going to be a real handful for defences. I'd consider dropping Chaplin and playing Broady as no. 10 next week. Feel really sorry for Edmundson as the two goals make him look really bad, but one unfortunate deflection and a clear offside goal. |
| Forum Thread | Thank god we signed Keiffer Moore at 18:02 3 Feb 2024
It's no coincidence our drop in form has been since Hirst got injured. KM has been right when he said KJ is a wingers not a striker. Think we will kick on again now with Moore and Al Hamadi up top. |
| Forum Reply | Some Saints fans wanting an Ipswich win next Monday at 23:26 16 Jan 2024
I agree I don't think Leicester are catchable, but let's not criticize fans for being optimistic. Most town fans thought Sheffield Wednesday were uncatchable last year and look what happened. |

Yes after Leicester. Just noticed Southampton play Leeds away on the last game of the season. Southampton also have a very tough March/April where they play Sunderland, Leicester, Middlesbrough, Ipswich, Blackburn, Coventry, Watford. |

I know no games are easy in this league, but just had a little look at what games are coming up. Other than West Brom they all look very winnable games, then a toughish April to end the season. Am I getting too excited? |

Agree with other comments on here, right now he is nowhere near the level to play in first team. That's not to say he won't get there but he needs more games and he isn't going to get it here. |

Exactly this, most teams in the championship have 2 attacking players that are loans, we may well end up with three but that is mainly down to unfortunate injury to Hirst. I think with the likes of Williams and now Travis these were loans with a view to potentially buy, I dont think Williams has done enough considering the wages he would probably demand. But I do hope Travis will come good over the coming months and we will make his move permanent in the summer. If not bar some wages nothing lost. |

I'd expect one more loan and a permanent signing to come. Probably both be strikers! Then we may wait and see if any improvement can be made in the CB areas, a CB that can cover at LB would be ideal. Given our current restrictions under FFP dont think we should expect anything extraordinary. |

Keep an eye on the ticket site a few more will pop up over the next week. I still find it mad how far we have come, even under the good days of Royle and Mick we weren't selling the ground out frequently. Nae Normal! |
