Being honest, the guy has been in superb form this season, however that form and consistancy has dipped in the last 2-3 months. Mistakes have crept in since the Watford away goal. Personally I would have been happy to see Walton come back towards end of Jan as think overall he is the better of the 2. We can't make change now as Walton would need a couple of games and its too risky now. Walton commands and organises the defense too, something we missed badly when Burgess was away. KM knows better than any of us though so go with his judgement. |
| Forum Reply | Is it time to rotate keepers and give Walton his spot back? at 14:02 11 Feb 2024
With the ball at his feet has been a big plus this season, and created openings. However he has given the ball away a few times recently. Would be a massive call to switch but 1 I feel might only might be worth doing. Defense look very uncertain in front of him, Walton is a better organiser and more vocal. Overall feel he is the better of the 2 keepers, but Hladky has been so good this season, especially early part. |

Apart from the poor ball from Edmunsen, am I one of the only ones who think Hladky could have done better with the shot? To me seemed very slow to react to the shot. Was in brilliant form at the start of the season but really feel his form has dipped of late. |
| Forum Reply | So...Keiffer Moore and 2 more new players signed today... at 08:19 2 Feb 2024
The signing of Moore also cleverly eases the immediate pressure on Al Hamidi too as he is a much more longer term investment. Moore will give us initially what we need in the short term which will give Al Hamidi time to settle. |

So you want to see us risk ffp etc and get possible points deductions? we are pretty close to threshold already, we can't compare to the 3 round us as they have parachute money. KM and MA have done a phenomenal job within the constraints given, remember we haven't lost any 1st team players for a good 2 years now, we have only added. We have gone from mid league 1 to top 2 contenders of champ in 18 months, that is nothing to be sniffed at |
| Forum Reply | Moore threads at 11:08 1 Feb 2024
1 thing we should have learnt by now is we now go about our business quietly and efficiently. We are strapped by ffp and have to manoeuvre carefully, so some deals financially are out of reach. We can guess till cows come home but normally it's once at club is 1st we know. Think whatever happens if there is no signing it won't be for lack of effort but we won't get a player for the sake of it, he will have to fit into club method and ethos |
| Forum Reply | At some point we’ll need to go back to a keeper who can use his hands at 12:50 23 Jan 2024
I think what he is trying to say is Hladky has been in great form but overall of the 2 Walton is the better keeper. However Hladky's form has been good enough to keep Walton out for now. Tbh if Walton was better with the ball at his feet they would have been switched by now, as proved by Hladky's long ball to Burns in 2nd half. |

Believe there is far more to this than meets the eye. Heard from reasonable source there was something off the pitch, he has had meeting with MA about a week before going back to Manchester. Injury may well be cover up to save face on parts of both clubs and also the player |

Should know by now how KM and MA go about their business. As it should be, quietly methodically and most of all the 1st the majority of people know about it is when it actually happens. So many rumours fly about which nearly always aren't true. Would not be surprised to see striker not being Stansfield. |

it's very possible. Can't see us being overly strong as squad looking a little tired. Any niggle won't be chanced and can see a few youth players involved. With impending suspension would expect Morsy to start, obviously Walton but other than that rest of team is anyone's guess. Can't see likes of Chaplin, Broadhead, Burns being involved. |

Couldn't agree more, also those getting their bloody phones out to try and either film or take pictures of what was going on. |

Very sad and awful news. Wanted to throttle some in Magners (as was) stand. Why do people have to get their bloody phones out and take pics / videos of what was obviously something tragic unfolding. Sad enditement of society and those supporters are an embarrassment to the club. |

Those moaning about ref not sure. Thought he handled occasion well. Morsy easily could maybe even should have been booked early (meaning missing next 2). He tried to allow a bit of physicality and in theory a better flowing game should have suited us better. Derbies are always a tough one, another ref would have been stop / start booked a good handful and probably sent a player or 2 off. |

Wednesday night the fog was clearly coming over the top of the stand. Not sure the watering of the pitch at half time would have helped but am sure the grounds people know far more than us |
| Forum Reply | Yet again, early and late goals…….. at 17:19 11 Nov 2023
Work magic?? Think he is having us 2nd in league (only off top on goal difference). Think we can all say if offered 39 out of 48 points after 16 we would have taken that in a heartbeat. Despite that we still have people moaning.....reality check? Team is doing phenomenally well at mo, yes we can nitpick but KM is doing a brilliant job so far |
| Forum Reply | If the Simms rumours are correct at 21:38 7 Jul 2023
Unless mistaken Broadhead, Hurst, Longoria and Clarke all signed Jan. All championship quality and 4 (albeit 1 on loan). Still suspect we have to box a bit clever with finances due to FFP. Anyone thinking negative about the transfer process under KM needs serious look, only 1 negative for me which was Camara but that was more injury than performance. |
