I also think it’s quite a risk. Obviously unproven, not sure his pedigree of being part of Solskjaers coaching staff of what has widely been considered as one of the worst coached teams in the Premier League says much. If we were to go down this route I think the Chelsea coach Barry would have been the better bet. I hope I am completely wrong. |

I don’t see why. This consortium will have to fund the ongoing operating loss and hopefully invest money into the playing squad. The only way their investment can grow is for Ipswich to be successful. If this doesn’t happen we will only be in the same position we are with Marcus Evans with the consortium looking to sell. The only way it could be worse would be if they couldn’t find a buyer and we’re not prepared to fund on going losses at that point we would be put into liquidation but this no more likely than it is with Marcus Evans. |

I think Chalobah will grow into the holding role and show you can still be creative from there. I was hoping to see a different side of Scuse but thought he was a passenger for most of the game cannot see a place for him in the team if Nolan comes in Huws Dozell get fit. Nydam unlucky not to make the squad after doing well against West Ham. |

Not sure I want to wait for Hurst and maybe he wouldn’t come and by then Ross may think no real commitment and we end up with neither. Also would like to see the new manager have as much time to get the team ready for next season. So make an offer for Ross for me. |
