Town Among Clubs Linked With Young Portuguese Keeper
at 11:37:02

Get him in if we can just for the distribution alone. Counter attacks would do wonder in League 1 and is an area town are dreadful at. Players only seem to see basic passes right in front of them. Can't be any worse at shot stopping, command of area or handling than what we have already got.

Lambert: Good Battle Between Keepers
at 12:08:09

Should start with Holy. Quick counter attacks from corners with his long throws. As good as Bart's shot stopping is, he is woeful with distribution and not great with claiming crosses. Corners against as could prove a gold mine if we play Holy for the upcoming season.

Harrison's Pompey Move Confirmed
at 07:15:15

Judging by what was seen in the footage of the new keeper Holy, we could very well see fast counter attacking football from corners especially with his long throws. Jackson's pace could be vital to getting into the space behind the defence. If this is the case, then Keeping Jackson over Harrison is the correct choice.

Town Face Bolton Still Searching for Elusive First Win
at 12:46:38

Personally think Brentford let us off and should have been out of sight for first half and think overall we were still poor. Nothing, but a win should do against Bolton. I feel that with 9 games in after the game and if there is still no victory then Hurst should be sacked. It is his team he has created and no other manager anywhere in this era would get away without a win in 9 games. Even at this stage there is a risk of the league starting to run away from us. I was for Hurst, but the writing is pretty much on the wall now unfortunately.

Hurst: I Really Enjoyed it Apart From Their Goal
at 13:19:17

I thought Nolan was brought in as he was supposed to be a creative player? He is not good enough to be starting every game. Was badly at fault for the goal as he passed into no mans land and then lunged in and did not get anywhere near the ball to stop the cross. Needs to be dropped. Overall we shut Norwich down for most of the game. Walters was decent and Pennington was our best player. Edwards who has been the best player so far, let himself down though as he just kept dribbling into dead ends and losing the ball. Sad that the better signings apart from Edwards were despearate last ditch loan deals. Doesn't say much for our recruitment under Hurst. The two strikers brought in Jackson and Harrison are not good enough and probably not even that good for the league below either.

McAuley Could Join Walters in Returning to Town
at 21:38:08

If he wants it....Huth should be given a trial to prove his fitness as he is a little injury prone, but he was/is one hell of a no nonsense defender. Might be a good option.

Walters: Take Me Home Country Roads!
at 12:43:45

We could try what Allardyce did with Crystal Palace. Get Walters to hold the ball up as a target man/deep lying forward and have two inside forwards/strikers run ahead from deeper positions whether it be Jackson & Harrison or maybe Jackson & Edwards. Would be worth a try. Would need to sacrifice Nolan as attacking midfielder though to hold a solid midfield 3 though.

Hurst: Tilt Signing Now Very Unlikely
at 20:11:24

Surely we should be turning our attentions to a premiership team player that can come on loan. We desperately need someone who has played championship football at least.

Town Targeting Walters Loan Return
at 20:07:32

Think either him or Jerome will be good additions. Are both proven Championship goal scorers thst can put themselves about and also hold the ball up. Don't forget this season we do not seem to ever keep position very well in the oppositions half or hold it up there. Can only be a bonus on either account.

Nydam Set for St Johnstone Loan
at 23:16:19

This does not give a good view to youngsters trying to get a game in the first team. They will go out on loan because brought League 1/League 2 players will be preferred even when Town are struggling to score or can't get close to winning a game at the moment. It has been a while since the last Academy player has played regularly for Ipswich.
