| News Comment | McKenna: Any Team in Any Division in the World Would Be Delighted With Our Start at 22:03:38
Was reading the PNE forum and lots of compliments about Town including Warton PNE said: For what it’s worth, Ipswich are about 20 times better than Leicester. We’re getting absolutely shagged but they’re cracking to watch Comment: Thought Leicester would be Decent to watch come start of season but Ipswich have been fantastic there a team that's for certain Ipswich more entertaining than Leicester who have come down. |
| News Comment | Blues' Promotion Hopes Boosted Further After Owls Draw at 23:03:12
Hugely impressive run for 6 or 7 games and some indifferent results for the rest of the top 4 have put Town well in contention if they can keep the winning mentality going. They certainly have the quality and confidence. Come on Town, you've had your blip and its time to capitalise on the points dropped around you. So close! |
| News Comment | Moore: Chance to Go 3-0 Up Was Turning Point at 20:14:27
I think the missed penalty and the lack of the red card was a lucky escape for them and the important turning point. Sounds like there will be a retrospective ban for their dirty player. |
| News Comment | Burnley 2-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 23:14:06
This from a Burnley fan on Facebook backed up by what Kompany had to say after the match. I don't understand the Town fans who are moaning and criticising tonight's performance. Wow. What an amazing football team. As a Burnley fan who has been to most of the home games and some of the away games u have been the most challenging team so.far this season. You definitely make a top 5 championship team!. Amazing! |
| News Comment | Burnley 2-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 22:33:20
How can people complain after Town came close to being the only side to beat Burnley at their place all season - no championship side has managed that. Fans should be full of pride for the performance showing that they're a force for that league. Just need to beat the ugly teams in Lg1 that stop us playing the quality football we're capable of. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Fleetwood Goal Unfortunate and Undeserved For the Efforts the Players Put In at 22:37:26
Reality check people. Town are second just a point off top and we're nearly midway through the season. So many negative people and drama queens on here. This is the best set of results we've had for 10 years and KM deserves huge credit. Temper your disappointment from one result, not even a loss, and enjoy the fact Town are very much on the right track for promotion. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Disappointing Night at 23:21:14
“We didn't do enough to get the goal back. I thought we tried, I thought the effort levels were really good. We tried everything but we weren't able to get the goal back." Lots of contradiction and waffle. Same old story for too many years now. |
| News Comment | Dyer to Need Liver Transplant at 23:35:36
Generic, you are a d**k. Do you think Kieron and his family want to read your dumb advice at a time like this. |
| News Comment | Cook Gives Strong Hint Blues Will Switch Formation at 11:30:59
KVY is key to the ability to play 2 up front. We've not been the same team without him. If he stays fit we just might be able to be in the mix come the end of the season. PCs comments sounds like the chance saloon. He can't get results with the formation he prefers so he knows he has to change it and hope for a miracle. |
| News Comment | Town Down to 12th at 21:12:11
Those witch hunters who drove Mick out, well done. |
| News Comment | Lambert: Were There Some Harsh Words There? Yes, But Not Over the Top at 22:02:27
Lincoln put 5 goals past us. Enough said. No excuses gloss. 10 points from 11 games. Relegation form.Cant get much worse. We didn't cut it in the Championship with Hurst and we are now showing the same dire form in League 1. I wasn't a fan of McCarthy's hoof ball but from what I've seen in recent games, nothings changed apart from the fact we don't have a big Murphy, Salmon or Noble to aim for and we cant buy a win. This is more than a blip and Lamberts not the man to sort it out. |
| News Comment | Digital Media Editor Pringle Joining Newcastle at 23:13:41
Even if Newcastle get relegated and Town get promoted we'll be in the same league and the Toons will have the advantage of a windfall payment so I really don't get the comments that Grant has been shortsighted. Besides, its not just about what division your employer is playing in. It's about the whole package and your personal preferences/situation or a new challenge. Just wish the guy good luck. |
| News Comment | Berra Linked With Town Exit and Return to Hearts at 23:07:58
We are luck to have Berra. He has been a very hardworking and loyal servant to the club and how he hasn't been poached I don't know. He is always thoroughly shattered at the end of every game and gives his all. He has a couple more years left at this level and I prefer him to Luke and Tommy. |
| News Comment | McCarthy Praise for "Flying" Lawrence at 00:05:44
I agree that Fraser was our best player last year and Lawrence this season. Thankfully McM can secure these loans or we would be relegation fodder especially after selling our top goal scorer. |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 2-1 Bristol City - Match Report at 22:23:39
I have lived in Suffolk on and off for 50 years and I understand some peoples negative/glass half empty thinking. Maybe if the fans can believe in their team, their team can feed off that energy and greater things can happen. MM has said many times that he doesnt do anything different to his first few years when he was our hero. The players publicly pledge their support of their manager. Whats changed? Some of the so called fans are full of negativity which the players can feel. Try to be happy with the win and roar the team on against qpr. |
