Limerick - completely agree with you. You have to mix it up to get out this league. In an ideal world we would play beautiful football every game but at this level you've got to play ugly sometimes. With our squad we can do a bit of both. Rotherham are a perfect example of this. |

I think Harris has a generally good record and has managed in League 1 and the Championship. I'm sure lots of managers in and out of work are interested. Fully behind whoever we appoint. Such potential in the squad and at the club in general.
Lots of names have been mentioned but we've just got to be fully behind the new guy whoever it is!

Pencilpete - Completely agree with you, thought we played really well last night, especially considering how young a side we had out. Clements, Dobra and Humphreys were outstanding. Really positive signs for them.
Everyone needs to chill out! If we are in a bad position come October/November then Id understand peoples concerns but we were brilliant last night, really enjoyable game. Thought we played well on Saturday too but made some costly individual errors at the back.
Stay with it, we are in for a really good season!

Just back from the game and thought we played really well at times but the most important thing in football is sticking the ball in the back of the net. We had so many chances, Dobra's in the second half stands out. Thought Clements, Humphreys, Barry and Dobra were the stand outs. Obviously a shame to go out but some really positive signs from those players. Can imagine clubs looking to take some of those youngsters on loan!

An honest assessment by Cook. Millwall do look like a very organised solid team and they gave away very few chances. We had some good spells and I was impressed with Harper and Evans in particular.
Need to tighten up at set pieces. So many new players will take a bit of time to click but we've brought in some real quality for the level we are at. Looking forward to next weekend. Atmosphere is going to be special! |

Sounds good to me! However as others have said I'd like to see a few more join in the next couple of weeks. I'm sure lots of business will be done between clubs in pre season. Would be surprised if only 10% of last year's squad are here next season, would expect a few more than that but very few justified their places. I'd ideally keep Downes, Woolfenden, Dobra, Norwood and KVY but that's about it.

Can't say I'm surprised as he's from Cambridge. Was a good player in 14/15 but never kicked on, partly due to injuries. 5 goals in 123 league appearances just isn't good enough for a player in his position. |

I'd be happy to keep Downes, Vincent-Young, Norwood, Woolfenden and Dobra but the others have had enough opportunities.
How many more times can we hype players up because of potential? They have had enough chances and are just not good enough. Its a shame but we cant just carry players for years.
Looking forward to seeing the new players arriving over the summer, hopefully we can get a lot of the business done before pre-season starts.
