What kind of defending was that ? Go on...have a free shot ?

I think it was time to rest players and start with a different team for first 45 minutes and see how that goes.
A simple 4-4-1-1 or a 4-4-2
How about Humphreys at left back and Davies left midfield ?

We needed a rigid back 4 to defend .
Our defending is woeful .

I'm probably thinking Al Hamady should of started up front alongside Broadhead. Taylor and Sarimento to start a game ?

It was a very tired performance and it would take a bit of inspiration to change the PLAN A that has served us well.

Why we don't mark players ? Who is shouting instructions ?

Cardiff first goal Hutchinson could have got in front of that player for his knock down.

Cardiff 2nd goal...What was Harry Clarke doing ? Their goal scorer just waiting for something whilst Harry is standing in front of our keeper.

Don't we expect teams to attack us in last 10-12 minutes ?

Poor defending again.

What team and tactics for tonight's game @ Millwall ?

I think we should start with a 4-4-2 with Moore & Al Hamadi up front and hope to win the first 65 minutes before the subs come on.

Either the defenders & goalkeeper are instructed to play it out from the back.

Or, the players feel they are smart enough to fumble about with the ball against a high press.

Two goals conceded and it could of been three if Hladky,s party trick was not scrambled clear.

Then another goal conceded by defenders going missing again.

I have lost count how many soft goals have been conceded by abysmal defending and trying to be too clever.

We could have had 3 points today if we had stayed tight and patient. Just like Leeds scraped a 1-0 @ Bristol City today.

I hope this lack of defending and discipline is addressed .

Well done Maidstone.
Had two chances and buried them.

I just can't get my head round either of Maidstone's goals.
